Enrollment Information
Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now closed.
Registration for 2025-2026 will open the week of Open House (March 4 & 6, 2025).
ENROLLMENT FOR NEW STUDENTS:
Parents desiring to have their child(ren) attend CCTS must complete an admission application including all students to be considered for enrollment. In addition, parents must read and agree with the Educational Philosophy, Statement of Faith, and Expectations forms. The application and signed Statement of Faith signature page must be mailed to Rebecca Moore as soon as possible.
Each family applying for a new admission will have an “interview” with at least two designated persons from CCTS (either board members or admission committee members). An interview will be set up after your application is received. Upon acceptance, a $100 Application Fee per family is required, regardless of how many children are being admitted. The fee is non-refundable and does not apply toward tuition.
A student material fee of $30 will be required for each student you are enrolling, due after acceptance, with August tuition payment. Sometimes additional resources that would aide you, the parent, in supplementing on non-class days will be expected to be purchased by the family or small fees due to special projects, although these are infrequent occurrences.
RE-ENROLLMENT OF STUDENTS:
Parents desiring to have their student(s) attend CCTS must complete an application and health form and return them to Rebecca Moore.
A $25 renewal application fee for each returning family is due with submission of application. This is non-refundable and does not apply toward tuition.
A student material fee of $30 will be required for each student you are enrolling due with August tuition payment. Sometimes additional resources that would aide you, the parent, in supplementing on non-class days will be expected to be purchased by the family or small fees due to special projects, although these are infrequent occurrences.
ENROLLMENT OF NEW SIBLING STUDENTS
Parents desiring to have a new sibling attend CCTS must follow the same guidelines as previously enrolled students adding them onto the application and health form. Payment of $30 book/material fee is due with August tuition payment.
When enrolling or re-enrolling a student, please keep the following in mind:
Families enrolling their children in CCTS must have a desire for classically taught and structured group classes, since that is the format used. This includes a Christian worldview and the four disciplines in science being taught (Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science and Physics) in all the lower elementary grades.
Parents must be willing to adhere to the Trivium and continue with their child(ren)’s studies on non-class days (M-W-F).
Children should be disciplined, obedient, and able to respond positively to authority.
Parents agree that God has made them ultimately responsible for their children's education and will delegate that responsibility only to those who they deem trustworthy and capable.
Student’s academic reports and/or grades must exhibit the necessary ability to perform at the appropriate grade level.
Families are current in all financial obligations to the Tutorial Services.
Because of the nature of our situation, the lower grades will be capped at a lower number of students.
Only age and grade appropriate children will be accepted into the classes. Again, because of the nature of our situation, we must do this because our tutors are not specifically trained to prepare for the special needs of students, either ones that are ahead or ones that are behind. Unfortunately, we cannot accept students with severe learning disabilities that would require special attention and/or changing of the expectations of the required work.
DRESS CODE
Recognizing that clothing can become an emotional issue and where our freedom in Christ provides a great deal of individual latitude, CCTS has chosen to set “house rules” to create a more professional atmosphere for the classroom, one that is conducive to learning. These rules are not specifically biblical in nature, although they are consistent with biblical standards.
Girl’s dress:
Uniform will consist of a skirt, jumper, pants, or shorts in navy blue or khaki (no blue-jean material or tight-fitting pants). Hemlines are to be knee length or longer. Blouses are to be polo style or button down, with a collar or turtleneck, short or long sleeved white, red, or navy blue. All shirts must be long enough that when arms are raised, no skin shows. Solid navy blue, red or white sweaters or sweatshirts over collared shirts may be worn in classrooms but no hoodie sweatshirts may be worn in the classrooms. Choice of shoes will be left up to the parent’s discretion (with the exception of no flip flops). Jewelry, nail polish, and make-up must be modest and not excessive (make-up only in 7th & 8th grades).
Boy’s Dress:
Uniform will consist of pants or shorts in navy blue or khaki (no blue-jean material or athletic pants). Hemlines of shorts must be knee length or longer. Front buttoned, polo style, or turtleneck shirts can be white, red, or navy blue, long or short sleeved. All shirts must be long enough that when arms are raised no skin shows. Solid sweaters and sweatshirts over collared shirts may be worn in white, red and navy blue but no hoodie sweatshirts may be worn in the classrooms. Choice of shoes will be left up to the parent’s discretion. Boys’ hair must be kept out of their eyes and neatly trimmed.
For both boys and girls, hats are to be removed upon entering the building and not worn again except for outdoor recess and when dismissed.
This dress code is considered “the uniform” and will be required on school days and field trips unless otherwise stated. In the event a student is not adhering to the dress code, a spare article of clothing kept in the CCTS closet may be used. The parents will be notified and if further offenses occur, a parent will be called to bring appropriate clothes or to take the student home for the rest of the day. If there is a continuing problem, it will be addressed with the parents and the Board.
